A national level examination to the admissions in all the IITs, other renowned engineering colleges like NITs, BITs and other engineering colleges - "JEE" gets conducted in two phases : -
1. JEE MAINS ( twice; varies year to year)
2. JEE ADVANCE (once)
Jee Advance 2022 got
conducted by IIT Bombay(changes every year mostly ;Either of the 7 selected IITs conducts it ), throughout the selected centers allover the country and results are expected to be announced by the same on 11 September as well at jeeadv.ac.in website.
JEE Advance was scheduled on 28 August with only first
2.5 lakhs of JEE Mains qualified
candidates eligible for it. It was a computer based test with no pen paper or offline exceptions.
This exam leads to admission in undergraduate courses like B.Tech, B. Arch and other integrated courses as well.
Registration fees for female candidates and SC/ST was Rs 1400/-.
Other categories had to pay Rs. 2800/- for the same.
JEE Advanced 2022 exam centres got distributed into following
7 different zones comprising : -
1.IIT Bombay Zone
2.IIT Delhi Zone
3.IIT Guwahati Zone
4.IIT Kanpur Zone
5.IIT Madras(Hyderabad) Zone
6.IIT Kharagpur Zone
7.IIT Roorkee Zone
These zones had a number of city/ town centres signified with distinct centre code.
JEE Advanced had papers in two shifts : -
1) Paper 1 - held from 9 am to 12 noon,
2) Paper 2 - held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Question paper was moderate but lengthy with some tricky questions from Physics while rest subject questions were bit easier than the previous year, Question paper had a total of 54 questions, 18 each from Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics section.Total Marks was 360.

Some students(40%) experienced screen problem while solving questions as their screen questions were zoomed in, they had to scroll again and again from right to left and up to down. This lead to the time waste and the exam conducting body took no steps for such issues faced.
